His Early Life and Music Journey
When Ciwan Haco started making music, his family did not fully support him. This was because, at that time, music was often seen as a job for lower classes. But Ciwan Haco loved music. At just 14 years old, he released his very first album. By the time he was 17, he performed live for a large audience.
Ciwan Haco's Special Music Style
Ciwan Haco is one of the first Kurdish singers to mix different music styles. He combines traditional Kurdish folk music with Western styles. These include pop, rock, blues, and jazz. This mix makes his music unique and popular.
In 2003, he held a huge concert in Batman, Turkey. More than 200,000 people came to watch him perform. Ciwan Haco is known for his song lyrics. They are often simple and easy to understand. The main topic in many of his songs is love. His song "Li hêviya te" (Waiting for you) from his 2006 album Off is special. It features singing in both Kurdish language and French language.
