Clyde is a small village located in southeastern Nodaway County, Missouri, in the United States. In 2020, about 55 people lived there.
Clyde is famous for being home to the Benedictine Convent of Perpetual Adoration. This convent has a very large collection of saint relics, with 550 documented ones. It is one of the biggest collections in the United States.

History of Clyde
A post office opened in Clyde in 1880. The village got its name from some Clydesdale horses. An early resident had bought these horses. Before it was called Clyde, the community was sometimes known as "New Conception."
Where is Clyde Located?
Clyde is the smallest community in the area known as the Tri-C Area. It is located about one mile east of Conception Junction. It is also two miles northeast of Conception. Clyde is about 5.5 miles south of Ravenwood.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village covers a total area of about 0.15 square miles (0.44 square kilometers). All of this area is land.
