Coi Leray Collins (born May 11, 1997) is an American rapper and singer. She is the daughter of rapper and media executive Benzino. Coi Leray started her music journey in 2018. She released her first mixtape, Everythingcoz, that year.
She later signed with Republic Records. This led to her second mixtape EC2 (2019). She also released her first extended play, Now or Never (2020). In 2021, her song "No More Parties" became very popular. A remix with Lil Durk reached the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also sold enough copies to be certified double platinum.
Her 2022 song, "Blick Blick" with Nicki Minaj, was also a hit. This came out before her first studio album, Trendsetter (2022). Later that year, her song "Players" reached the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100. It was certified platinum and was the first song from her second album, Coi (2023). In 2023, her song "Baby Don't Hurt Me" with David Guetta and Anne-Marie entered the top 20 in the UK.

Coi Leray Collins was born on May 11, 1997. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts. She grew up in Hackensack, New Jersey. Her father is the rapper and media executive Benzino. She has five brothers.
Coi Leray's parents separated when her father left The Source magazine. She began making music when she was 14 years old. In 2011, she started rapping. She released her first songs, "Bow Down" and "Rock Back," on YouTube. She made these songs with her brother Taj. However, both of them stopped rapping soon after. When she was 16, Coi Leray left high school. She then started working in sales.

Starting Out: 2018–2020
After leaving her sales job, Coi Leray released her first single in 2018. It was called "G.A.N." and was a response to a song by A Boogie wit da Hoodie. Her breakthrough song, "Huddy," came out in 2018. Her first mixtape, Everythingcoz, was also released that year.
In December 2018, she was featured on the song "Save the Day." This song was part of the soundtrack for the movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Her second mixtape, EC2, was released in January 2019. It came out through 1801 Records and Republic Records. She joined rapper Trippie Redd on his Life's a Trip Tour in early 2019. She also released the song "Good Days" in March 2019. She was featured on Trippie Redd's song "Everything BoZ." In April 2020, she released "Better Days" with Fetty Wap. She was also on a remix of Keke Palmer's song "Sticky." Coi Leray released her first extended play, Now or Never, in August 2020.
Big Hits: Trendsetter and Coi (2021–Present)
Coi Leray's song "No More Parties" came out in January 2021. It was her first song to appear on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It reached number 26. A remix with Lil Durk was released in February 2021. A music video for the remix came out the next month. "No More Parties" was certified platinum in May 2021. This means it sold over a million copies.
In March 2021, Leray released "Big Purr (Prrdd)" with Pooh Shiesty. This song reached number 69 on the Billboard Hot 100. She appeared in the music video for Mooski's song "Track Star" in April 2021. In November 2022, Leray released "Players". This became her first solo song to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. It also became her first top-10 hit, reaching number nine in 2023. The song became even more popular with remixes, like the Jersey club remix by DJ Smallz 732.
In January 2023, Leray was featured on "Happy Fools" by Tomorrow X Together. Her song with David Guetta and Anne-Marie, "Baby Don't Hurt Me", came out in April 2023. This song reached number 48 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also reached number 13 on the UK Singles Chart. She also worked with Metro Boomin on "Self Love." This song was on the soundtrack for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. On June 23, 2023, Leray released her second studio album, Coi.
