The Commonwealth Parliament Offices in Sydney, Australia, are special offices used by the Australian Government. They are located on levels 19 to 21 of the 1 Bligh Street building in Sydney. These offices are a place where important government groups, like the Cabinet, can meet when they are in Sydney.

Where the Offices Used to Be

Before moving to 1 Bligh Street, the Commonwealth Parliament Offices in Sydney were at Charterbridge House, located at 56-70 Phillip Street. This old location was very close to Circular Quay, a famous spot in Sydney. It was also across the road from the Museum of Sydney. This museum is built on the site of the very first Government House in Sydney.

Important Meetings at the Old Offices

The former offices at Phillip Street hosted many important events. In September 2007, they were used during a big meeting called APEC Australia 2007. APEC stands for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation. It's a group of countries that work together on trade and economic issues.
