Condola Phylea Rashad, also known as Dola Rashad, was born on December 11, 1986. She is an American actress. She is most famous for her work in live theater.

Condola first became well-known for her role in the play Ruined (2009). This play won a special award called the Pulitzer Prize. Since then, she has been nominated for four Tony Awards. These are very important awards for theater actors. She is the youngest person to receive so many nominations! She also played Juliet in Romeo and Juliet on Broadway. Condola Rashad was born in New York City on December 11, 1986. Her mother is the famous actress Phylicia Rashad. Her father is Ahmad Rashad, a sportscaster and former professional American football player. Condola graduated from the California Institute of the Arts in 2008.

Career Highlights

In 2009, Condola Rashad won the Theatre World Award. This award was for her first big performance in the play Ruined. She was also nominated for a Drama Desk Award for this role.
