Corsica is a small town, called a borough, located in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. In 2020, about 319 people lived there. This borough was named after the island of Corsica, which is famous as the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte. The current mayor of Corsica is David Leadbetter.

History of Corsica
Corsica was first settled in 1802 and officially became a borough in 1860. The town faced a big challenge in 1873 when a terrible fire destroyed many of its businesses and homes. Despite this, the community rebuilt and continued to grow.
Geography and Location
Corsica is found in the western part of Jefferson County. Its western edge touches the border of Clarion County.
How to Get Around Corsica
U.S. Route 322 runs right through the middle of Corsica. This road is known as Main Street in town.
- If you travel east on Route 322 for about 6 miles (10 km), you will reach Brookville. Brookville is the main town for Jefferson County.
- Going west on Route 322 for about 10 miles (16 km) will take you to Clarion.
Nearby Highways
Interstate 80, a major highway, passes just north of Corsica. You can get onto I-80 from Exit 73, which connects to Pennsylvania Route 949.
- I-80 goes east about 27 miles (43 km) to DuBois.
- I-80 goes west about 54 miles (87 km) to Interstate 79 near Mercer.
Pennsylvania Route 949 also helps you get around:
- It leads northeast about 8 miles (13 km) to Sigel.
- It leads south about 5 miles (8 km) to Summerville.
