Courtemaîche was a small town, also known as a former municipality, located in the Porrentruy district. This area is part of the Jura canton in Switzerland.
On January 1, 2009, Courtemaîche joined with two other nearby towns, Buix and Montignez. Together, they formed a new, larger municipality called Basse-Allaine.
Before this merger, Courtemaîche covered an area of about 8.94 square kilometers (3.45 square miles). In 2003, it had a population of 664 people.
