Damphreux was a small town, also called a municipality, located in the Jura canton in Switzerland. It was part of the Porrentruy area.

Damphreux was first written about in the year 1161. Back then, it was known as Damfriol.
On January 1, 2023, Damphreux joined with another town called Lugnez. Together, they formed a new, larger municipality named Damphreux-Lugnez.

Damphreux covers an area of about 5.62 square kilometers (2.17 square miles). A large part of this land, about 62.4%, is used for farming. This includes fields for crops and areas for animals to graze.
