Coeuve is a small town, also called a municipality, located in the Porrentruy area of the Jura canton in Switzerland. It's a quiet place with a rich history and beautiful natural surroundings.

History of Coeuve
Coeuve was first mentioned in old records way back in 1136. At that time, it was known by the name Cova. This shows that people have lived in this area for a very long time!

Coeuve covers an area of about 11.59 square kilometers (or 4.47 square miles). A big part of this land, about 56.8%, is used for farming. This means there are lots of fields and pastures.
About 37.5% of Coeuve is covered by forests. These are thick, green forests that are an important part of the landscape. The rest of the land includes buildings, roads, and a small amount of rivers.
