Crawford's Purchase is a special kind of area in Coös County, New Hampshire, in the United States. It is called a "township" but it's different from a regular town. This area is completely inside the White Mountain National Forest. As of the 2020 census, no one lives there.

History of Crawford's Purchase
Crawford's Purchase was officially given to three people in 1834. These people were Thomas Abbott, Nathaniel Abbott, and Ethan Allen Crawford. They bought the land for $8,000. The area was about 15,712 acres (63.58 km2).
Geography of the Purchase
Crawford's Purchase covers an area of about 21.2 square kilometers (8.2 sq mi). All of this land is dry land, except for small rivers and streams. The Ammonoosuc River flows through the purchase from east to west.
The highest point in Crawford's Purchase is 2,890 feet (881 meters) above sea level. This high point is found on the southern slopes of the Dartmouth Range. It is located at the northern corner of the purchase's border.
