They are also found along the coast of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Plus, they live in the middle and lower parts of the Uruguay River in Brazil and Uruguay. You can even spot them in parts of the Amazon River basin, specifically in the Guaporé River drainage in Brazil and Bolivia. They like clear, flowing waters where they can hunt for food.
