A Look Back: Cusson's History
Cusson has a short but interesting history. A post office was opened in Cusson in 1909. This post office helped people send and receive mail in the area. However, it closed down about 20 years later, in 1929.
Cusson was also an important stop for trains. It served as a station on the Duluth, Winnipeg and Pacific Railway. Train stations were places where trains would stop to pick up or drop off passengers and goods. This shows that Cusson was once a busy spot for travel and trade.
