Cypress Lawn Memorial Park is a special place where people are laid to rest. It was started in 1892 by Hamden Holmes Noble. You can find it in Colma, California. This town is sometimes called the "City of the Silent" because it has many cemeteries.
Many famous people are buried here. This includes members of the well-known Hearst family. Other important people from the San Francisco area also rest here. Cypress Lawn was even featured in a TV show! It was part of a 2005 PBS documentary called A Cemetery Special.
