David Giménez Carreras was born in Barcelona, Spain in 1964. He is a famous conductor from Spain. A conductor is like the leader of an orchestra or opera. They guide the musicians to play together.

David Giménez Carreras is currently the Music Director of the Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès. He is also a main guest conductor for the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra. He is the nephew of the famous singer José Carreras. David has conducted many concerts for his uncle. One special concert was in Barcelona in 1998.
