Diamond Lake is a natural lake that covers about 754 acres. That's like more than 570 football fields! It's located north of U.S. Route 2.

The lake is not super deep everywhere. On average, it's about 26 feet deep. At its deepest spot, it goes down to 58 feet.
Fishing Fun
If you like fishing, Diamond Lake is a great place to visit. You can fish there all year round! The lake is home to many different kinds of fish.
Some of the fish you might catch include:

- Yellow perch
- Bullheads
- Rainbow trout
- Brown trout
People also help keep the lake stocked with fish. A special project helps release 12,500 rainbow and brown trout into the lake. Also, about 200 adult rainbow trout, called "broodstock," are raised and added to Diamond Lake every year. These broodstock fish are used for breeding more fish.
