Dimitri Diatchenko (born April 11, 1968) was an American actor. He was known for his roles in movies, TV shows, and for lending his voice to many video games.

Life and Career
Dimitri Diatchenko was born in Oakland, California, on April 11, 1968. He grew up in San Francisco, California. His father was from Ukraine, and his mother had Greek and Swedish family roots.
Dimitri started learning to play the classical guitar when he was seven years old. Just two years later, he performed his first solo guitar concert! He won several awards in guitar contests, including the Stotsenberg International Classical Guitar Competition. He also released four music CDs featuring his guitar playing.
Besides music, Dimitri also began studying martial arts at age seven. He earned black belts in both Taekwondo and Kenpo Karate. He also trained in boxing and arnis.
Dimitri went to Newton North High School in Newton, Massachusetts. Later, he attended Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. There, he studied classical guitar and earned a degree in music. He continued his studies in acting and music at Florida State University.
In 1996, Dimitri got a small role in the action movie G.I. Jane. After this, he moved to Los Angeles to focus on his acting career. In Los Angeles, he also taught guitar lessons and performed music regularly.
Dimitri appeared in many popular TV shows. He was in the action series Alias. He also had roles in big movies like Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and Get Smart.
Many film critics praised Dimitri for his role as Yuri, a Ukrainian tour guide, in the movie Chernobyl Diaries.
Beyond acting on screen, Dimitri was also a talented voice actor. He used his voice for many different characters in video and computer games. His first voice role in a video game was in 2005 for Medal of Honor: European Assault.
Passing Away
Dimitri Diatchenko passed away at his home in Daytona Beach, Florida, on April 21, 2020. He was 52 years old. His death was believed to be from natural causes, possibly a heart attack.
