Dion Neutra (born October 8, 1926 – died November 24, 2019) was an American architect. He was known for designing buildings in a modern style, often called "International style." He first worked with his famous architect father, Richard Neutra.
About Dion Neutra's Life
Dion Neutra began learning about architecture from his father when he was just 11 years old. He went to the University of Southern California for his studies. During one year, he traveled to Zurich, Switzerland, to study architecture at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. He graduated with honors.
After his father, Richard Neutra, passed away in 1970, Dion became the head of the Neutra architecture company. He helped people who owned buildings designed by his father. He made sure any updates to these buildings kept their original look and feel.
In 2011, Dion hosted a special party to celebrate 85 years of Neutra Architecture. This event took place at the Eagle Rock Recreation Center and the Neutra VDL Studio and Residences.
Dion Neutra passed away on November 24, 2019. He was 93 years old and died at his home in Los Angeles.

He also worked to protect other buildings. These included the Cyclorama Building at Gettysburg in Pennsylvania and the Mariners Medical Arts Building in Newport Beach, California. He also cared about the future of the Los Angeles County Hall of Records.
