The school song for the Dorchester Dragons was written by Emily Juanita Stewart. She lives in Howe, Texas. Russell Wortham of Howe was the last person to receive the "Dorchester Dragon Spirit Award" in 2010. This award was given to a student from Howe High School. It honored the student who showed the most "Dragon Spirit" among students from the Dorchester and Howe areas.
