Double Mountain is the tallest mountain in the Tehachapi Mountains in California. It gets its name because it has two peaks that are almost the same height.

This mountain is located south of the town of Tehachapi. It is also near Highway 58 and Tehachapi Pass. Because Double Mountain is so high, it often gets snow during the winter months.

About Double Mountain

Double Mountain stands tall at 7,993 feet (about 2,436 meters) above sea level. This makes it the highest point in the entire Tehachapi Mountain range. Its unique shape, with two similar-sized tops, makes it easy to spot.

Mountain Shape
