Duje Dukan (born December 4, 1991) is a professional basketball player from Croatia. He last played for the Klosterneuburg Dukes in the Austrian Basketball Bundesliga. Before becoming a professional, he played college basketball for the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Early Life and Basketball Beginnings
Duje Dukan was born in Split, Croatia. When he was just 10 months old, his family moved to the United States. He grew up in Deerfield, Illinois. He went to Deerfield High School there.
During the 1990s, Duje had a special connection to basketball. He was a ball boy for the famous Chicago Bulls team at the United Center. This experience likely sparked his love for the game. Later, he played college basketball for the University of Wisconsin.
Duje Dukan's Professional Basketball Journey
Duje Dukan started his professional basketball career in 2015. He has played for several teams in different leagues.
Starting with the Sacramento Kings (2015–2016)
After the 2015 NBA draft, Duje Dukan joined the Sacramento Kings for their Summer League games. On July 22, 2015, he officially signed with the Kings. He also played for their minor league team, the Reno Bighorns, in the D-League. This is a league where players can develop their skills.
On April 13, 2016, Duje made his first appearance in an NBA game. He played for 24 minutes, scoring six points and grabbing four rebounds. After this season, he left the Kings.
Playing in Croatia with Cedevita Zagreb (2016–2017)
In August 2016, Duje signed a three-year contract with Cedevita Zagreb, a team in Croatia. He played with them for a few months before leaving the team in January 2017.
Back to the NBA G League (2017–2019)
After playing in Croatia, Duje returned to the United States. He joined the Windy City Bulls in the NBA D-League (which later became the NBA G League). He played for them from January 2017 to February 2018.
In February 2018, Duje was traded to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. He continued to play in the G League. Later in 2018, he joined the Oklahoma City Blue for a short time. In January 2019, he signed with the Capital City Go-Go.
Playing in Spain (2019–2022)
In July 2019, Duje Dukan moved to Spain. He signed a one-year deal with the Spanish club Movistar Estudiantes. He played well, averaging about 4.7 points per game.
In August 2020, he signed with another Spanish team, TAU Castelló, in the LEB Oro league. He averaged 6.9 points per game there. In October 2021, he joined Cáceres Ciudad del Baloncesto, also in the Spanish LEB Oro league.
Recent Teams (2022–2024)
In November 2022, Duje joined the Landstede Hammers, a team in the BNXT League in the Netherlands. Most recently, in 2024, he played for the Klosterneuburg Dukes in the Austrian Basketball Bundesliga.
Personal Life
Duje Dukan comes from a basketball family. His father, Ivica Dukan, was also a professional basketball player in Europe for 15 years. Today, his father works as an international basketball scout for the Chicago Bulls.
