Kenton is a small, unincorporated community in the southwest part of Duncan Township. It is located along M-28, a main road, and near the East Branch of the Ontonagon River. Kenton used to have a train station on the Duluth, South Shore and Atlantic Railway. A post office was opened in Kenton in February 1889. The ZIP Code for Kenton is 49967.
Sidnaw
Sidnaw is another unincorporated community found in Duncan Township. It is also located along M-28. Sidnaw is about 21 miles (34 km) southwest of L'Anse. This community has its own post office with ZIP code 49961.
