About the East Branch Whiteface River
The East Branch is a very small stream, almost like a brook. It gets its water from the southwestern slopes of Mount Whiteface.
Mount Whiteface is a tall mountain, about 4,020-foot-high (1,230 m). It is part of the Sandwich Range in the White Mountains.
The stream begins within the town limits of Waterville Valley. From there, it flows south into another town, Sandwich. This is where it meets and joins the main Whiteface River.
