Eden Sonja Jane Riegel (born January 1, 1981) is an American actress. She is famous for playing Bianca Montgomery in the TV drama All My Children. Her role as Bianca was very popular and won her a Daytime Emmy Award in 2005.
Besides acting on TV shows, Riegel has also appeared in movies and web series. She played Heather Stevens on The Young and the Restless from 2010 to 2011.
Riegel is also a talented voice actress for video games and cartoons. She is the voice director for several popular Disney animated shows, including Amphibia, The Owl House, and Hailey's On It!.

Early Life and First Roles
Eden Riegel was born in Washington, D.C. on New Year's Day in 1981. She grew up in a suburb in Virginia. She became interested in acting after watching her brother, Sam, perform in dinner theater. Soon, she joined him on stage.
Her first big role was playing Cosette in the famous musical Les Misérables. This led to more acting jobs on stage. She went to the Professional Children's School and later attended Harvard University. For a while, she thought about becoming a lawyer. In the summer of 2000, she even worked as an intern at the White House.
Acting Career
All My Children
From 2000 to 2005, Riegel played Bianca Montgomery on the soap opera All My Children. Bianca was the daughter of one of the main characters, Erica Kane.
Riegel's character was groundbreaking for daytime television. In 2003, Bianca shared a kiss with another female character, Lena Kundera. This was the first time a same-sex kiss between two women was shown on an American daytime TV show. This storyline was an important moment in television history. For her role, Riegel won a GLAAD Media Award in 2004.
She was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award three times before winning for Outstanding Younger Actress in 2005. After leaving the show in 2005, she returned for special visits over the years. In 2008, her character Bianca had the first legal same-sex marriage in American daytime TV history.

Riegel is a very busy voice actress. She has provided voices for animated shows like Bleach and Disney's Stitch!. She was also the voice of young Miriam in the movie The Prince of Egypt.
