Egremont is a small community known as a hamlet in central Alberta, Canada. It is part of Thorhild County. You can find it about 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) north of Highway 28. It's also about 37 kilometers (23 miles) north of Fort Saskatchewan. The hamlet gets its name from a place called Egremont, Cumbria in England.
