Al Mokawloon Al Arab Sporting Club, often called Al Mokawloon, is a professional football club from Egypt. They are based in Nasr City and are owned by a big construction company called Arab Contractors. The club is most famous for its football team, which currently plays in the Egyptian Second Division A.
Over the years, Al Mokawloon has helped develop some of Egypt's most talented football stars. Famous players like Abdel Sattar Sabry, Mohamed Salah, and Mohamed Elneny all played for this club.

Club History
How the Club Started
Al Mokawloon Al Arab Sporting Club was started in 1973. It was founded by a famous Egyptian engineer and entrepreneur named Osman Ahmed Osman. He created the club as the official sports team for his huge construction company, the Arab Contractors. At that time, Arab Contractors was one of the biggest construction companies in the Middle East.
In 1983, the club had a fantastic year and won the Egyptian Premier League championship! Their team included talented international players like Joseph-Antoine Bell from Cameroon, Karim Abdul Razak from Ghana, and Ishmael Dyfan from Sierra Leone.

Club Performance in African Competitions
Al Mokawloon Al Arab has a strong history in African football tournaments. They have won the African Cup Winners' Cup three times, showing their strength on the continent.
- In 1982, they won the African Cup Winners' Cup by beating Power Dynamos 4-0 in the final.
- They won the cup again in 1983, defeating OC Agaza 1-0 in the final match.
- Their third African Cup Winners' Cup title came in 1996, where they beat AC Sodigraf 4-0 in the final.
- They also reached the final of the CAF Super Cup in 1997, but lost to fellow Egyptian club Zamalek in a penalty shootout.
- More recently, in the 2020–21 CAF Confederation Cup, they had a good run, winning their preliminary round match 10-1 on aggregate before being knocked out in the first round.

Al Mokawloon Al Arab has played in Egypt's top football league, the Egyptian Premier League, for many years. They won the Premier League title once in 1983. They have also won the Egypt Cup three times and the Egyptian Super Cup once.
After being relegated to the Egyptian Second Division in 2003, they quickly bounced back, winning the Second Division title in 2004 and getting promoted back to the Premier League. They have mostly stayed in the Premier League since then, often finishing in the middle of the table. In the 2024-25 season, they were promoted back to the Egyptian Premier League, finishing 1st in the Egyptian Second Division A.
