Elba is a small village located in Howard County, Nebraska, in the United States. In 2020, the village had a population of 192 people. Elba is considered part of the Grand Island area.

History of Elba
Elba was officially started in 1882. This happened when the Union Pacific Railroad built its tracks to this spot. The village got its name because a nearby bend in the river looked like an "elbow." Elba became an official village in 1886.

- Grover Cleveland Alexander - He was a very famous Major League Baseball pitcher. He was so good that he was added to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1938.
