Elizabeth Wagele (1939–2017) was an American artist, musician, and writer. She wrote many books about personality types, like the Enneagram and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). She was also known for her funny cartoons and music.

About Elizabeth Wagele's Life

Elizabeth Wagele grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. When she was 10, her family moved to Berkeley, California. As a child, she loved drawing, playing the piano, and making up stories.

Music was a huge part of her life. She especially loved Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, and Bartók. She also enjoyed jazz artists like Charles Mingus and Billie Holiday.

Elizabeth was a very talented pianist. She studied music composition at the University of California, Berkeley. She graduated with honors in 1961. She continued to study, teach, and perform piano while raising her four children. In 1993, she started writing books with her friend, Renee Baron.

Elizabeth Wagele passed away on March 27, 2017, in Berkeley, California.
