Early Life
Elon Gold was born in The Bronx, New York City, on September 14, 1970. His parents are Lynn and Sidney Gold. He grew up in the Pelham Parkway area of The Bronx.
Elon has an older brother named Steven, who works in the music production industry. He also had a younger brother, Ari, who was a rhythm and blues singer. Elon went to school at Westchester Day School in Mamaroneck, New York. He also attended the Marsha Stern Talmudical Academy in Manhattan.
His Career
Elon Gold started his acting career on TV shows. He was in the television series Stacked and the comedy show In-Laws.
Elon is very well known for his impressions. This means he can copy the voices and actions of famous people. Some of the people he can imitate include Jeff Goldblum, Howard Stern, and Jay Leno. Because of his talent, Elon was a judge on a TV show called The Next Best Thing. This show was a competition where people tried to impersonate celebrities.
He also appeared in the movie Cheaper by the Dozen (2003). In this film, he played a cameraman from The Oprah Winfrey Show. In 1996, he had a role in the ABC show, The Dana Carvey Show.
Elon often writes with his friend, Ari Schiffer. They have written many TV show ideas together. One of their ideas was bought by Touchstone Television. This script was called Wifeless. Elon has also appeared in other TV shows like The Mentalist (2009) and Frasier (2004).
In 2014, his comedy special, Chosen and Taken, was shown on Netflix. A comedy special is a longer show where a comedian performs their jokes. Elon also appeared as himself in the TV series Crashing on HBO in 2019.
