Emerado is a small city in Grand Forks County, North Dakota, United States. It is located very close to the Grand Forks Air Force Base. Emerado is part of a larger area known as "Greater Grand Forks", which includes parts of North Dakota and Minnesota.

Emerado is a small city in terms of its size. The United States Census Bureau says the city covers about 0.31 square miles (0.80 square kilometers). All of this area is land, meaning there are no large lakes or rivers within the city limits.
Education in Emerado
Emerado has its own school, Emerado Elementary School. This school teaches students from Pre-Kindergarten all the way up to 8th grade. After finishing 8th grade, students can choose to attend high school in nearby towns. These towns include Grand Forks, Northwood, or Larimore.
The Emerado school helps students get to Larimore High School by providing bus service. The school also offers a breakfast program and an after-school program. With around 100 students, Emerado School is small. This allows students to feel comfortable while still getting a good education.
