Emre Mor's Club Football Journey

Starting His Career

Emre Mor began his football journey at a young age. In December 2013, when he was 16, he had a trial with AS Saint-Étienne. However, he did not get a contract with them.

He played for Lyngby BK at the U17 and U19 levels. In January 2015, he left the club. Later, it was reported that he was released due to some attitude issues.

Playing for FC Nordsjælland

On January 31, 2015, Emre signed with FC Nordsjælland. Other clubs from Denmark and abroad were also interested in him. He was first meant to play for their U19 team.

Emre made his official debut for FCN on November 28, 2015. He came on as a substitute in a match against Randers FC. In the next game, he started against Brøndby IF. His good performance earned him a new contract. He was promoted to the first team in January 2016.

Time at Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund signed Emre Mor on June 7, 2016. He signed a five-year contract with the German club.

During his time there, he made 12 appearances in the Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League. He usually played as a substitute. Sometimes, there were reports that the club was not happy with his attitude.

Moving to Celta Vigo

On August 29, 2017, Emre joined Spanish club Celta Vigo. The transfer cost €13 million, making him one of Celta's most expensive signings.

He did not play much in his first season. He only started one league game until mid-December. In April 2018, he was late for training. He later apologized on Twitter, saying: "Good luck to my teammates against Sevilla. Disappointed I can't help them on the pitch today but I can only blame myself. As a professional I shouldn't have been late for training. This won't ever happen again and I will try everything to get back into the squad!"

After this, he trained alone for a while. In May 2018, he was sent home early from training again. He did not play for the rest of that season. The next season also started with him playing very little. In January 2019, he was again left out of training due to attitude problems.
