Engelmann Peak is a tall mountain summit in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains in North America. This mountain is located in Arapaho National Forest. It stands at 13,368 feet (4,075 meters) high. Mountains over 13,000 feet are sometimes called "thirteeners." The peak is about 10.2 kilometers (6.3 miles) west of the Town of Empire. It is found in Clear Creek County, Colorado, United States. The mountain was named to honor a famous plant scientist, George Engelmann.
