Errick "E" Lane McCollum II (born January 22, 1988) is an American professional basketball player. He currently plays for Galatasaray in Turkey's Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL). Errick is 6 feet 2 inches (1.88 meters) tall. He plays as a point guard or a shooting guard.

Early Life and High School Basketball
Errick McCollum grew up in Canton, Ohio. He went to GlenOak High School from 2002 to 2006. While there, he played basketball with Kosta Koufos, who later played in the NBA. In 2006, Errick's younger brother, CJ McCollum, joined the team. CJ also became a professional basketball player.
College Basketball Career
McCollum played college basketball at Goshen College from 2006 to 2010. He was an amazing scorer there. When he finished college, he had scored 2,789 points, which was the most points ever scored by a player at Goshen College. He was also named an NAIA DII All-American in all four years he played. This means he was recognized as one of the best college players in his division.
Professional Basketball Journey
Errick McCollum started his professional basketball career in 2010. He has played for many teams in different countries around the world.
Playing in Israel and Greece
McCollum began his pro career in Israel with the team Elitzur Netanya in 2010. The next year, he played for Hapoel Kfar Saba, where he scored a lot of points, averaging 23.8 points per game.
In 2012, he moved to Greece. He played for Apollon Patras and then Panionios. During the 2013–14 season, he was the top scorer in both the Greek League and the EuroCup competition.
Time in China
In 2014, McCollum joined the Zhejiang Golden Bulls in China. On January 30, 2015, he made history by scoring 82 points in a single game! This set a new record for the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). He also led the CBA in scoring that season.
Success in Turkey
In September 2015, McCollum signed with Galatasaray in Turkey. This was a big year for him. He was named the EuroCup MVP and was part of the All-EuroCup First Team. His team, Galatasaray, went on to win the EuroCup championship that season.
More Time in China and Turkey
After his success with Galatasaray, McCollum returned to China in 2016 to play for the Beikong Fly Dragons. He again led the CBA league in scoring, showing he was one of the best scorers there.
In March 2017, he came back to Turkey and rejoined Galatasaray. Later that year, he signed with Anadolu Efes, a top team in the EuroLeague. He had a great game in November 2017, scoring 31 points and earning the title of EuroLeague Round 7 MVP.
Playing in Russia and Back to Turkey
McCollum then played for teams in Russia, including Unics Kazan and Khimki. He continued to be a strong scorer in the VTB United League.
In June 2022, he returned to Turkey for a third time, joining Pınar Karşıyaka. In January 2025, he signed with Fenerbahçe Beko. He helped Fenerbahçe win their second EuroLeague championship in Abu Dhabi on May 25, 2025. Soon after, on June 28, 2025, he signed with Galatasaray again.
The Basketball Tournament
Errick McCollum has also played in The Basketball Tournament (TBT), a special competition where teams compete for a big prize. He was a key player for the team called Overseas Elite. This team won the championship four years in a row, from 2015 to 2018! McCollum was even named to the TBT 2018 All-Tournament Team.
Family Life
Errick McCollum has a younger brother named CJ McCollum. CJ is also a professional basketball player and currently plays for the New Orleans Pelicans in the NBA.
