Erw y Ddafad-ddu is a mountain peak found in Snowdonia, a famous national park in North Wales. It's part of the Aran Fawddwy mountain range. This peak is special because it is the third highest in the entire Aran range!
Where is Erw y Ddafad-ddu?
Erw y Ddafad-ddu sits right in the middle of the main Aran mountain ridge. You can find it between two other important peaks. To the south is Aran Fawddwy, and to the north is Aran Benllyn.
The Summit and Its Features
The top of Erw y Ddafad-ddu is quite rocky. You will see a small pile of stones, called a cairn, marking the very highest point. From here, an eastern ridge stretches out towards another peak called Foel Hafod-fynydd.
