The Federated States of Micronesia national football team represents the Federated States of Micronesia in football. It is managed by the Federated States of Micronesia Football Association. This team is not a member of FIFA (the world's football governing body) or any regional football group. This means they cannot play in big tournaments like the World Cup.

Playing History
The Micronesian national football team has not played many official matches. Their last game was in 2003. In 2015, the under-23 team played in the Pacific Games. They had some very tough losses. However, having a team there was a step towards building a stronger national team. The goal is for the team to eventually be recognized by FIFA.
The 1999 Micronesian Cup
In 1999, the island of Yap hosted the Micronesian Cup. This was a football tournament with three teams. The teams were the Northern Mariana Islands, Micronesia, and an international team called the Crusaders.
On July 12, 1999, Micronesia played their first official match. They won against the Northern Mariana Islands with a score of 7–0. The team then won their second group match 4–1 against the Crusaders. This win helped them reach the final. In the final, they faced the Crusaders again. Peter Paul Igesumai scored seven goals in that game. Micronesia won the match 14–1 and became the champions of the tournament.
Other Matches
The team has played a few other friendly matches and participated in the South Pacific Games.
- Their first ever game was on June 1, 1999, against Guam. They lost that match 0–3.
- Their biggest win was the 7–0 victory over the Northern Mariana Islands in the 1999 Micronesian Cup.
- Their largest loss was 0–18 against New Caledonia in the 2003 South Pacific Games.
