Club History

A.S. Fidelis Andria (1971–2005)

The club began in 1971 as A.S. Fidelis Andria. At first, the team wore red and yellow uniforms. It was the second football club in the town of Andria.

In 1978, another local club, A.S. Andria, stopped playing. Fidelis Andria then decided to change its colors to blue and white. These are the traditional colors of the town.

With their new blue and white colors, the club played for many years in higher leagues. They played in Serie B and Serie C1. Their last time in Serie B was in 1999.

After the 2004-2005 season, the club faced financial problems and had to close down.

In the summer of 2005, the club was re-started. It was given a new name: A.S. Andria BAT. The letters "BAT" stood for Barletta-Andria-Trani. This was the name of the province of Barletta-Andria-Trani where Andria is located.

The team played in the Lega Pro Seconda Divisione from 2005 to 2009.

At the end of the 2008-2009 season, the team moved up to Lega Pro Prima Divisione. This happened because another team, Avellino, was moved down to a lower league. After the 2012-13 Lega Pro Prima Divisione season, the club was moved down after play-off games. However, they did not join the Lega Pro Seconda Divisione league.

S.S. Fidelis Andria 1928 (2013–2018)

In the summer of 2013, a new team was formed. It was called S.S.D. Fidelis Andria 1928. This new team started playing in Eccellenza Apulia, which is a regional league.

In the 2013-2014 season, the team finished in second place. They then won the national play-offs. This allowed Fidelis Andria to move up to Serie D. Serie D is the highest level of non-professional football in Italy.

For the 2014-2015 season, Fidelis Andria played in Group H of Serie D. On April 26, they won a game against Cavese with a score of 3-2. This win meant the club was promoted to Lega Pro. Lega Pro is the third highest football division in Italy. They achieved this with two matches still left in the season. After the regular season, Fidelis Andria took part in the Scudetto Serie D tournament. This tournament decides the amateur champions. The team was knocked out in the group stages.

From July 1, 2015, the club became a member of the Italian Professional Football League. This league is known as Lega Pro. Because of this, the club changed its name to S.S. Fidelis Andria 1928.

Fidelis Andria finished the 2015-2016 season in 7th place. This result meant the club could take part in the next 2016–17 Coppa Italia cup competition. On May 7, after the last match of the season, the team's coach, Luca D'Angelo, announced he would not continue with the club.

S.S.D Fidelis Andria 2018 (2018–Present)

In July 2018, the club again faced financial difficulties and was declared unable to continue. They were not allowed to register for the upcoming Serie C season. On the last day to register for Serie D, a group of investors stepped in. Led by Marco Di Vincenzo, they formed S.S.D. Fidelis Andria 2018. This new club took over the sporting rights of the old S.S. Fidelis Andria 1928. The re-formed club was then allowed to join Serie D.

In June 2022, the club announced a new main sponsor for the 2022-2023 season. This sponsor was an American company called "7Crocketts". The deal was put together by an investment firm called MergersCorp M&A International.

Team Colors and Crest

The team's main colors are blue and white. The club's crest, or logo, shows a lion standing on its hind legs. This design is based on symbols found in the official badge of the city of Andria.
