Filip Ćustić creates art using many different forms, like photography, performance art (where the artist performs for an audience), sculpture, and video art. His artistic name, Filip Custic, uses the first letter of his last name and his first name in lowercase.

Filip Ćustić was born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain. His parents were from Croatia and moved to Spain during the Croatian War of Independence.

Filip is an artist who works with many different types of art. His art has been shown in Spain at places like La Térmica in Málaga and the César Manrique Foundation in Lanzarote. His work has also been shown in other countries, including the Museum der bildenden Künste in Leipzig and at the Manchester International Festival.

What His Art Explores

Filip's art looks at how digital technology affects our minds and how we see ourselves. He creates what he calls cuadros virtuales, which means "virtual paintings." In these works, he mixes real things with surreal (dream-like or strange) ideas.
