Filip Ćustić was born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain. His parents were from Croatia and moved to Spain during the Croatian War of Independence.

Filip is an artist who works with many different types of art. His art has been shown in Spain at places like La Térmica in Málaga and the César Manrique Foundation in Lanzarote. His work has also been shown in other countries, including the Museum der bildenden Künste in Leipzig and at the Manchester International Festival.

What His Art Explores

Filip's art looks at how digital technology affects our minds and how we see ourselves. He creates what he calls cuadros virtuales, which means "virtual paintings." In these works, he mixes real things with surreal (dream-like or strange) ideas.

Filip has also been involved in many art projects. For example, in 2019, he was chosen to be part of Selfridges' art project called The New Order in London. He also gave a talk at Design Fest in Madrid in 2019. In July 2019, he was a judge for an art competition organized by the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Madrid.

Working with Music and Fashion

Filip Ćustić has also worked as a creative artist and fashion photographer for famous magazines like Vogue, GQ UK, and Esquire. He also worked with the singer Rosalía on her 2018 album, El mal querer. He helped design and create the visual look for the album.
