Fred Allen Jones Jr. (born October 18, 1977) is a former American football player. He played as a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for four seasons. He was part of the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs. Before the NFL, he played college football at the University of Colorado Boulder. He also played for the Frankfurt Galaxy in NFL Europe.

After high school, Fred played college football. He joined the Colorado Buffaloes football team. He played for them from 1996 to 1999. He was recognized as a letterman in 1996, 1998, and 1999. This means he earned a special award for his athletic achievements.

Fred Jones's Professional Football Career

Fred Jones was not chosen in the 2000 NFL draft. However, he still got a chance to play professionally. On April 23, 2000, he signed with the Buffalo Bills.

Playing for the Buffalo Bills
