French Mountain is a really tall mountain peak in the Sawatch Range of the Rocky Mountains in North America. It's known as a "thirteener" because it's over 13,000 feet high! This amazing mountain is part of the Elbert Massif area, which is inside the San Isabel National Forest. You can find it in Lake County, Colorado, United States, about 13 miles (20.9 km) southwest of the city of Leadville.
