Fruitland Township is found in the northwest part of Muskegon County. It has some amazing natural borders. To the west, it touches the huge Lake Michigan. To the north, you'll find White Lake, which is connected to Lake Michigan, and the city of Whitehall.

Waterways of Fruitland Township
The middle of the township has a stream called Duck Creek. This creek forms a small lake called Duck Lake, which then flows into Lake Michigan. The northern part of the township's water flows into White Lake. The southern part drains towards Muskegon Lake, which is another inlet of Lake Michigan.
