White Lake is the name of several beautiful lakes found in the U.S. state of Michigan. The biggest and most well-known White Lake is located in Muskegon County. It's formed by the White River as it flows into the much larger Lake Michigan.

White Lake in Muskegon County
The largest and most famous White Lake is found in Muskegon County, Michigan. This lake is created by the White River, which eventually flows into the huge Lake Michigan.
Many towns and townships are located around this White Lake. On the north side, you'll find the city of Montague, along with Montague Township and White River Township. On the south side of the lake are the city of Whitehall, Whitehall Township, and Fruitland Township. There's also a small community called Wabaningo right where White Lake connects to Lake Michigan through a short channel.
