Fullarton is a suburb located just south of Adelaide city in South Australia. It's part of the City of Unley area.

Fullarton is surrounded by other suburbs like Parkside, Unley, and Highgate. A main road called Fullarton Road runs right through the middle of the suburb.

Fullarton's History

Fullarton was first planned and developed in 1849 by a man named James Frew. He decided to name the area after his wife, Jane Fullarton.

The Frew family lived in a large home called Malwood. You can still find many old and interesting houses in Fullarton. These include different styles like Victorian, Edwardian, and Art Deco homes. There are also many newer houses and apartments.

Fullarton is also home to several places that care for older people. One important site is the former Julia Farr Centre, which is now being redeveloped into Highgate Park.
