Gaia Sabbatini is a talented Italian middle-distance runner. She was born on June 10, 1999. Gaia is known for her speed and endurance in races. She has achieved many great things in her career.
Gaia won a gold medal at the 2021 European Under-23 Championships. This was for the 1500 metres race. She also holds the Italian indoor record for the 1000 metres. This means she ran faster than any other Italian in that race indoors.
She has won three national titles in Italy. In February 2020, she became the first athlete from her hometown, Teramo, to win a national title. Gaia also represented Italy at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The Olympics were held in 2021 due to a delay. She competed in the 1500 metres race there.
In 2022, Gaia helped Italy make history. She ran the final part of the mixed relay race at the European Cross Country Championships. Her team won, giving Italy its first-ever victory in this event.
