Georgetown is a city in the Bear River Valley in Bear Lake County, Idaho, United States, at the center of a farming area between the river and the mountains to the east. It was settled by Mormon pioneers on the route of the Oregon Trail and was named after George Q. Cannon. Georgetown was first settled in 1864 The population was 476 at the 2010 census. U.S. Route 30 passes through the town.

2010 census
As of the census of 2010, there were 476 people, 170 households, and 137 families residing in the city. The population density was 634.7 inhabitants per square mile (245.1/km2). There were 194 housing units at an average density of 258.7 units per square mile (99.9 units/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 95.4% White, 0.4% African American, 0.4% Native American, 0.6% Asian, 0.4% from other races, and 2.7% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.4% of the population.
There were 170 households, of which 38.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 67.6% were married couples living together, 9.4% had a female householder with no husband present, 3.5% had a male householder with no wife present, and 19.4% were non-families. 17.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.80 and the average family size was 3.14.
The median age in the city was 37.3 years. 26.5% of residents were under the age of 18; 10.7% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 21.5% were from 25 to 44; 25% were from 45 to 64; and 16.4% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 46.4% male and 53.6% female.
