Georgia Taylor is an English actress. She was born Claire Marie Jackson on February 26, 1980. She is well-known for her roles in popular TV shows. These include playing Toyah Battersby in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street. She was on the show from 1997 to 2003, and then returned in 2016. Georgia also played Ruth Winters in the BBC One medical drama Casualty from 2007 to 2011. Another important role was Kate Barker in the ITV crime series Law & Order: UK from 2013 to 2014.

Georgia Taylor's Acting Career
Georgia Taylor began her acting journey in 1997. She joined the cast of Coronation Street as Toyah Battersby. This role made her very popular.
Early Success in Television
In 2001, Georgia won a special award. It was the Best Dramatic Performance at the British Soap Awards for her role as Toyah. She left Coronation Street in 2003. After that, she appeared in many other TV shows. These included Where the Heart Is, New Street Law, and Life on Mars.
Returning to Coronation Street
In September 2016, it was announced that Georgia would return to Coronation Street. She came back as Toyah Battersby. Her first episode back aired on Christmas Day in 2016. She has been a regular on the show since then.

In 2004, Georgia had a recurring role in Blackpool. This series was nominated for a Golden Globe award. She also appeared in its follow-up, Viva Blackpool.
