Grandview is a small city located in Louisa County, Iowa, in the United States. In 2020, about 437 people lived there. It's part of the larger Muscatine area.

History of Grandview

Grandview was started in 1841 by two people named Alvin Clark and Robert Childers.

On June 1, 2007, a strong tornado hit Grandview. This tornado was an EF3 tornado. It caused a lot of damage, hurting or destroying many homes and other parts of the city.

Where is Grandview Located?

Grandview is found about half a mile east of where two main roads meet: US Route 61 and Iowa Highway 92.

The city of Wapello is about six miles south of Grandview. Muscatine is about 12 miles to the northeast.

According to the United States Census Bureau, Grandview covers a total area of about 0.23 square miles (0.59 square kilometers). All of this area is land.
