Granger is a small city in Williamson County, Texas, United States. It became an official city in 1891. In 2020, about 1,183 people lived there.

History of Granger
In the late 1800s, Granger was a key place for many Czech immigrants from Moravia (a region now in the Czech Republic). This history is still seen today in old buildings like the Catholic Church, the Czech Brethren Church, and the SPJST hall.
A photographer named Jno P. Trlica, whose father was a Moravian immigrant, started his business here. His pictures show what life was like in Granger in the early 1900s.
Granger's Geography
Granger is located about 36 miles (58 km) northeast of Austin, the capital city of Texas. A large body of water called Granger Lake is just east of the city.
The city covers a total area of about 0.7 square miles (1.7 square kilometers). All of this area is land.
