Gregory Buck Kinnear (born June 17, 1963) is an American actor and a former TV show host. He is well-known for his roles in many movies and television series. He was even nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the movie As Good as It Gets (1997).
Greg Kinnear has appeared in popular films like Sabrina (1995), You've Got Mail (1998), Little Miss Sunshine (2006), and Heaven Is for Real (2014). Early Life and School
Greg Kinnear was born on June 17, 1963, in Logansport, Indiana. His mom, Suzanne, was a homemaker, and his dad, Edward, was a diplomat for the U.S. State Department. This meant Greg moved around a lot when he was growing up, living in places like Beirut and Athens.
While he was a student at the American Community Schools in Athens, Greg got his first taste of being a host. He had his own radio show called School Daze With Greg Kinnear. After high school, he came back to the United States for college. He went to the University of Arizona and graduated in 1985 with a degree in broadcast journalism. This helped him prepare for his future career in television.
Becoming a Star
Greg Kinnear started his career as a TV host. He hosted a game show called College Mad House. From 1991 to 1995, he was the first host of Talk Soup, a popular show where he talked about funny moments from other TV shows. After that, he hosted his own late-night talk show, Later with Greg Kinnear, which started in 1994.

Greg Kinnear made his first movie appearance in Blankman. Then, he got a big role as David Larrabee in the 1995 movie Sabrina. He also starred in the comedy Dear God in 1996.
