Hampton is a small town in Calhoun County, Arkansas, in the United States. It is the main town, also known as the county seat, of Calhoun County. In 2020, about 1,181 people lived there. Hampton is also part of the larger Camden area.

Hampton is located in the eastern part of Calhoun County. Two important roads, U.S. Routes 278 and 167, meet right in the town.
Route 278 goes west about 23 miles to Camden. It goes east about 26 miles to Warren. Route 167 heads north about 21 miles to Fordyce. It goes south about 27 miles to El Dorado.

There is a small airstrip just south of Hampton. It does not have an air traffic control tower. For bigger flights, people can use Harrell Field in Camden. This airport is for general aviation, like private planes. For commercial flights, the South Arkansas Regional Airport in El Dorado is closer. The closest very large airport is Clinton National Airport in Little Rock. For international flights, Memphis International Airport is the nearest option.
