This mountain reaches a height of 13,261 feet (about 4,042 meters). Because it is over 13,000 feet tall, it is sometimes called a "thirteener." Henry Mountain is found within the Fossil Ridge Wilderness area. This wilderness is part of the Gunnison National Forest. The mountain is about 12.5 kilometers (7.8 miles) northwest of the Town of Pitkin. It is located in Gunnison County, Colorado, in the United States.
