Herne Hill railway station is a busy train station located in Herne Hill, a part of South London, England. It's found in the London Borough of Lambeth. The station first opened its doors on 25 August 1862.
Did you know that Transport for London (TfL) once thought about extending the Victoria line to Herne Hill? This would have made trains turn around faster at the end of the line. However, this idea is not a top priority for TfL right now. Other projects are seen as more important.
